Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion distribute the Precious Body and Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ to those gathered at Mass, to the Catholic patients at Wooster Community Hospital, or to the homebound of the parish residing in a retirement facility or a private home. Through this humble service, God unites all members of the parish, tending to spiritual needs and nourishing souls. The Eucharistic Minister is a personification of an outward sign of the love that flows to the confined from Christ's heart and from ones own as we all remain united in Him.
Formation sessions are held twice yearly at various diocesan locations. A parish application and interview is necessary before an individual can be considered for the formation process.
